Approachable. Prepared. Ready to fight for you. πŸ’›βš–οΈ

People often think attorneys are intimidating to talk to. That's not how I operate. From the very first conversation, my job is to make sure you feel heard, informed, and confident about what comes next.

Whether it's a criminal charge, a custody battle, or a situation you weren't planning for, this is where it starts. Right here, across the desk.

This is what the first step looks like.

No pressure. No judgment. Just a real conversation about where you stand and what your options are.

Every case I take starts here, with me listening, understanding your situation, and giving you an honest picture of what comes next.

If you've been putting off making that call, this is your sign.

The police found something. That doesn't automatically mean it can be used against you. πŸ›‘

In Texas, evidence obtained illegally, through an unlawful search, a coerced confession, or a traffic stop without probable cause, can be challenged.

That's called a motion to suppress.

If we win that motion, the evidence gets thrown out. And cases built on suppressed evidence? They often collapse entirely.

This is why the details of your arrest matter:
β†’ How they stopped you
β†’ What they said
β†’ Whether they had a warrant

I go through every single one of those details, because that's where cases are won before they ever get to trial.

If you've been charged, the first thing I look at is how the evidence was obtained.

Thinking your divorce will be simple? That's the most expensive assumption you can make. πŸ’Έ

The moment one thing is disputed, the house, the debt, the kids, you're in contested territory.

And what you agree to informally in the first few weeks can follow you for years.

Talk to me before you sit down at that table. πŸ“© Link in bio.

Yes, your texts, DMs, and emails are all fair game in a Texas courtroom.

In criminal cases, prosecutors can subpoena your phone records.

In family law, screenshots of your texts have been submitted in custody hearings.

That message you sent at 2am when you were angry? A judge could read it out loud.

Two rules I tell every client:

β†’ If you wouldn't want it read aloud in court, don't send it
β†’ If your case is active, don't delete anything without talking to your attorney first. Destruction of evidence carries its own legal consequences.

πŸ“Œ Save this and share it with someone who needs to hear it.

Questions about what's safe to say, or not say? That's exactly what a consultation is for.

Moving fast through a divorce feels like relief, until you realize what you agreed to. Financial decisions made under pressure rarely hold up long term. Take the time to get it right.

"Have you had anything to drink tonight?"

If an officer asks you that, here's what's actually happening.

Most people panic and explain: "just one b**r, a couple hours ago." They think honesty helps.

It doesn't.

Here's why it matters:
β†’ The smell of alcohol is completely subjective, no objective standard, just the officer's word
β†’ Your words, however, ARE evidence
β†’ The second you say "I had one drink", you've handed them a voluntary, on-camera admission
β†’ In Texas, officers are legally allowed to be less than upfront during an investigation β€” sometimes they claim they smell something just to see if you'll confirm what they can't prove

You are NOT required to answer questions about where you've been or what you've had.

Give your name. Say calmly: "I'd like to speak with a lawyer." That's it.

πŸ“Œ Save this. It's the kind of thing you only need once.
