I’m 45 and I’m not ashamed to admit …
1. I’m raising two teenagers… and I’m still figuring it out as I go.
2. I’m caring for my kids while worrying about my aging parents — and some days, it feels like I’m falling short on both.
3. I think a lot about staying close to my parents… because I know there will come a day when they need me more than they do now.
4. The struggles of the sandwich generation are real… but I remind myself I still get to show up for both sides.
5. I’ve made mistakes in my younger days I’m not proud of — but they shaped how I show up today.
6. I still feels guilty sometimes… but I’ve learned that showing up, even imperfectly, matters more than getting everything right.
No one really has it all figured out.
Some of us just keep showing up anyway.
