Not long to go until Jo and Ellie take part in the Great North Run! Any money raised will go to the Middlesbrough FC Foundation who use sport and education to empower young people in the local community. Grey-Smith Legal are incredibly proud to support such a worthy cause.

Exchange Vs Completion. Whats the difference?

If you're buying a property you are going to hear these two terms a lot. They're linked, but they are two different parts of the process.

Exchange is when you and the seller become legally committed to the sale. It means the contracts have been exchanged, and backing out at this point could have financial consequences.

Completion is the day you get the keys! Funds have been transferred at this point, and ownership of the property is changed to you.

Understanding both of these makes the process that little less overwhelming.
