🇮🇪 Could your profession qualify you for Ireland’s Critical Skills Employment Permit?

The CSEP is designed for highly skilled non-EEA professionals filling areas of skills shortage in Ireland, offering significant advantages including Stamp 4 eligibility after 21 months and work rights for eligible spouses and partners.

From March 2026, the main salary threshold starts at €40,904, with different thresholds applying to recent graduates and certain higher-paid roles.

Eligibility depends on more than your job title. Your exact occupation, salary, qualifications, employer and job offer all matter.

📲 Considering Ireland? Contact Immigration Connection – Global Residence Consulting to check whether your career profile may qualify.

🚫 Myth: Anyone can apply for Spain’s 1-Year Job Seeker Visa and move to Spain to look for work.

✅ The Reality: Spain does have a 12-month Job Seeker Visa (Visado para la Búsqueda de Empleo), although it is a specific immigration route rather than a general visa for anyone wishing to relocate to Spain and search for employment.

Under the current Spanish immigration framework, the route may be available to:

🇪🇸 Children or grandchildren of Spanish nationals of origin, subject to the applicable annual arrangements; or

💼 Applicants seeking work in specified occupations and geographical areas, where places are made available through Spain’s collective recruitment framework.

🎓 Graduating from a Spanish higher education institution?

There is a separate immigration pathway for eligible graduates who have completed qualifying higher education in Spain. This can allow them to remain in Spain for up to 24 months to search for suitable employment or develop a business project.

The right Spanish immigration route therefore depends on your circumstances, qualifications, family background and where you are applying from.

At Immigration Connection, our Global Residence Consulting service helps individuals assess international residence and immigration options and understand the requirements before committing to an application.

Istenmeden ek belge iletin.

🌍 Did you know that your UK Graduate Visa could become the beginning of an international remote-working journey?

The Graduate Visa allows you to work and become self-employed in the UK. If you are freelancing, consulting or providing services independently, this may give you time to build a business and prepare for future Digital Nomad Visa opportunities across the world.

Start building your business history properly:

✅ Choose an appropriate structure, such as operating as a sole trader or through a limited company
✅ Register with HMRC or Companies House when required
✅ Use a dedicated business bank account where appropriate
✅ Issue professional invoices and retain client contracts
✅ Receive payments through traceable banking channels
✅ Build a professional online presence
✅ Retain evidence of projects, services, clients and ongoing commercial activity
✅ Develop regular income that can continue while you live overseas

📌 Digital Nomad Visa applications commonly require more than a recently registered business. Depending on the destination, you may need to demonstrate a genuine trading history, ongoing overseas clients, stable remote income and evidence that your work can continue from abroad.

Your business history can therefore become part of your future immigration evidence. Begin early, operate genuinely and retain clear records as your work develops.

Please remember: Student Visa holders are generally prohibited from being self-employed. You should wait until your Graduate Visa has been granted before beginning freelance or business activity.

🔎 At Immigration Connection, we can assess your profile, future destination and Digital Nomad Visa options, helping you understand the business and income evidence you may need to develop.

Prepare for your global mobility tomorrow.

📘 The UK Expansion Worker route allows certain overseas businesses to send a senior manager or specialist employee to the UK to establish a branch or subsidiary. To be able to transfer one of your workers to the UK, you will first need to incorporate a UK branch or subsidiary and obtain a Global Business Mobility Sponsor Licence for this entity.

🔵 Which companies are suitable for this route?

This route is usually suitable where the overseas company is already active and trading at a considerable corporate level, has a credible plan and resources to expand to the UK, and has not yet started trading in the UK.

🔵 What do you need to show?

The company must usually show a UK footprint, an overseas successful trading presence, and the ability to establish a UK trading presence upon approval.

The Home Office will look at the overseas business, the UK expansion business plan, financial position, existing and potential business activity and the role and background of the worker being sent to the UK.

🔵 How does Immigration Connection support you?

- At Immigration Connection, we support overseas businesses with
- Global Business Mobility sponsor licence applications
