Wellbeing isn’t an add-on for us - it’s embedded in everything we do. This recognition reflects the ongoing commitment across our chambers to creating a supportive, positive, and inclusive working environment.

Great to have recently brought so many of our barristers together at Albert Schloss in Manchester.

A relaxed evening with good conversation, great food and a lively atmosphere. More importantly, it gave us the opportunity to connect as a set outside of our individual practices.

Even though much of our work is done independently, evenings like this are a valuable reminder of the importance of connecting as a team and supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Last Friday, members of chambers stepped away from the courtroom and headed to the Hot Water Comedy Club for an evening of much-needed laughter.

Family practice brings daily intensity as we support clients through some of life’s most difficult moments, and this requires resilience as well as expertise.

Taking time together outside of court is an important part of maintaining perspective, supporting one another, and sustaining the high standards our work demands.

Grateful for a brilliant night, great company, and a reminder that strong teams are built both in and out of court.
