Hello Friends, our Victoria Dragon Boat Festival is returning for its 27th year in Victoria's Inner Harbour after 2 years of covid. It is one of the summers larger free community festivals. We can help support it as the costs of a free community cultural festival are very significant. There will be free cultural acts, bands, entertainment, food vendors, vendors and more. Dragon boat racing for a full day on Saturday this year.

If you own a company and it owns land in BC, do you need help with filing a Transparency Report with Land Titles?

Disclosure by Existing BC Landowners Required by November 30, 2022

Reporting bodies” that hold an interest in land (acquired prior to November 30, 2020) are required to file a transparency report with the LOTR by November 30, 2022. Failure to file a transparency report is deemed to be an offence under the LOTA and could trigger a significant fine, the greater of: (i) $25,000 for individuals or $50,000 for corporations or other entities; and (ii) 15 percent of the assessed value of the property.
