Young Women in Law Network. Develop. Contribute. Young Women in Law is a membership organization for women called to the bar up to 10 years in Ontario, Canada.

YWL aims to promote young female lawyers by providing its members with leadership building seminars, career coaching and networking opportunities. YWL acknowledges challenges that are faced by young female lawyers, and aims to address those challenges in a pro-active, productive and engaging manner. YWL aims to actively interact and dialogue with the legal community. YWL also aims to give back to

Please join us in welcoming Brianna to the YWL Board! ✨

Brianna is an associate at Torys LLP, where her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. She also advises public companies on their disclosure, corporate governance and other securities law obligations. She obtained both her Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and her J.D. from Queen’s University. During law school, Brianna was involved with the elder law clinic, mooting in the Vis Commercial Arbitration Moot and participated in the annual ‘Cabaret for a Cure’ with Queen's Law Cancer Society.

Outside of her legal practice, Brianna enjoys finding new recipes to try, staying active by playing soccer or running along the Toronto waterfront and catching the latest Mirvish show.

We’re excited to have her join the YWL leadership team! 💫
