Good news: hindi nawawala ang PR status mo kapag nag-expire ang PR card.

Pero:
- Hindi pwedeng gamitin ang expired na PR card pang-biyahe.
- Para makasakay ng eroplano, bus, tren o barko pabalik ng Canada: valid PR card o PRTD.
- Nire-renew pa ang card mo? Mas mabuting hintayin muna bago umalis.
- Payo ng IRCC: mag-renew kapag wala nang 9 na buwan bago mag-expire.
- Nasa labas ka na at expired na? PRTD (permanent resident travel document). Karaniwang single entry lang, at kailangan mong naabot ang 730 days sa Canada sa nakaraang 5 taon.

I-check ang expiry ng PR card mo bago bumiyahe.

Bawal kang singilin para makakuha ng trabaho sa Ontario, recruiter man o employer.

Ayon sa Employment Protection for Foreign Nationals Act ng Ontario, bawal maningil ang recruiter ng kahit anong fee sa foreign worker. Bawal din sa employer na bawiin sa iyo ang gastos nila sa recruitment, maliban sa ilang seasonal farm workers. Kailangan ding may Ontario licence ang recruiter para sa trabaho sa Ontario, kahit nasa labas pa sila ng Canada. Puwede mong i-check ang licence nila sa website ng Ontario government.

Nakabayad ka na? Puwede kang mag-file ng claim sa Ministry of Labour ng Ontario para mabawi ang pera, sa loob ng tatlo't kalahating taon.
