One of the things I love about running my own law firm is that I get to decide how to do business and with whom to do business.
For instance, I enjoy visiting my clients in their place of business.
Why? Very simple.
1️⃣ I get to UNDERSTAND their operations, culture, and vision. By observing their operations, I can identify legal risks and opportunities that may not be apparent from a distance, and tailor my legal strategies accordingly.
2️⃣ I get to KNOW the business. Hearing or reading about the business is one thing, but seeing it in motion is another. I get to see myself as part of that motion; that my work contributes to the success of the business.
3️⃣ I get to BUILD a deeper connection with the people behind the business. I get to understand their motivation and passion, their goals and expectations. I can see how hard they work to build a successful business and they inspire me to provide them with the best legal support possible to help them thrive.
Understanding the business, knowing the business, and building deeper connections with the people behind the business is fundamental to my approach as a lawyer. It helps me tailor my legal advice and solutions to their specific needs, ensuring that they receive the tailored legal support they deserve.
