The discipline learned from the structured worlds of sport and academia translated into the skills and temperament needed to succeed in the business of homes and the built environment. Having always had a keen eye for aesthetics and an appreciation for the built world, Jess decided to begin pursuing her Red Seal carpentry certification. During this time she was pursued by, and began working for, a large commercial construction company to manage, hire and train tradespeople for large scale projects. On evenings and weekends she devoted her spare time to renovating her first income property. Having always had a passion for design and homes, Jess started a furniture company called Trunk Studio which garnered international recognition and accolades (Globe & Mail, Qatar Airlines’ Oryx Magazine, The Toronto Star, Azure Magazine, Design Lines). Real Estate has proven to be the ultimate combination for Jess. She gets to deal with people, negotiate contracts, speak to the pros and cons of homes and drive herself to pursue the very best business & marketing practices. Known for her hardworking, yet laid back and approachable style, she forms client relationships where her engagement and love of homes translates into transactions that are right for her clients. Buying or selling a home is often the largest monetary and lifestyle investment her clients will ever make and Jess is adamant that the process deserves the utmost respect. Jess has been practicing in real estate since 2013 and can thank her referral network of happy clients for the healthy year-over-year growth of her business. In 2020, Jess oversaw 35 successful transactions, therefore carrying forward her Engel & Volkers Diamond award winning streak that began in 2019 with 38 transactions. Jess is also a certified member of the internationally recognized Institute for Luxury Home Marketing Specialists
In her spare time Jess can be found walking her dogs Red, Bear & Aggie, spending time with friends, snowboarding or planning her next travel adventure.
