⚠️ WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU ⚠️

🇦🇺 Australia has paused NEW approvals for student providers and courses for 12 months - mainly affecting private colleges, VET providers, and English course providers.

Here’s what students need to know:

✅ Existing universities and approved colleges can still enrol students
✅ Current student visas are NOT cancelled
✅ Applications lodged before May 19, 2026 will still be processed

❌ New private colleges may not be able to offer courses to international students during the freeze
⚠️ Australia is increasing scrutiny on “non-genuine” providers and visa misuse
📉 Expect fewer low-quality colleges entering the market
📋 Students may face stricter checks when choosing courses and providers

🎯 Bottom line:
Australia is trying to protect the quality and integrity of its international education system - but genuine students can still study and apply normally through approved institutions.
