I moved to Dubbo with my family when I was around six years old, and…. I’m still here. 𝙒𝙝𝙮?

I grew up here, built my career and my business here, and have been raising my own family here.

𝙄 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙤, 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚.

Over the years, I’ve seen how much opportunity there is in our region, but it’s so much more than that.

The people who look out for each other. The networks of support you build around you. The space our kids have to grow up and explore. And the beautiful places we have right on our doorstep.

𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧? 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡… 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙥 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙖.

When you’ve grown up in Dubbo and around the Central West region (like myself), 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙪𝙥 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚. You don’t have to go looking for it - a lot of it is simply second nature.

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙮?
✅ They often already know the area you’re talking about
✅ They understand the surrounding towns, roads and distances
✅ They know the difference between buying in town and further out
✅ They’re familiar with local flooding, access, services, and infrastructure consideration
✅ Sometimes, they already know the answer to a local question - or where to find it quickly
✅ It can mean less time spent getting up to speed on the area and more time focusing on your property

Of course, the proper searches and checks are always done, of course.
But when your conveyancer has grown up in the area, there are 𝙔𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙎 - 𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝘿𝙀𝘾𝘼𝘿𝙀𝙎 - of local knowledge sitting behind those checks too..
