When making parenting arrangements post separation, your child and their particularities come first.

Your child is not the same as the child that sits next to them in class, or the child they catch the bus with of a morning. The Court will consider your child, who they are, their lived experience, and your family's circumstances in determining their best interests.

AusAlert is a new national emergency warning system that sends urgent messages to compatible mobile phones and other mobile devices in a specified area.

AusAlert testing will ensure the alert works before it is used in real emergencies. Testing is really important for our community's safety. However, the alert will be loud, and if you are a person who had a hidden phone for safety reasons, you need to prepare for this.

To find out more about AusAlert, follow the link below: https://www.nema.gov.au/our-work/risk-reduction/ausalert

This group usually hold the view that they don’t have anything really to worry about and a Will isn’t necessary.

Having a current Will at all times after you turn 18 is so important, not only for legal reasons, but so that if something happens to you, your family are not left floundering around wondering whether they are “doing the right thing” by you.
