🚨 USCIS NXJERR MEMO TË RE PËR GREEN CARD DHE “ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS” 🚨

Më 22 Maj 2026, USCIS publikoi një memorandum (“policy memo”) të ri që synon të kufizojë rastet kur personat që ndodhen brenda SHBA-së me viza të përkohshme mund të kryejnë Rregullimin e Statusit (Adjustment of Status) për të marrë Green Card pa u larguar nga territori amerikan.

📌 Sipas këtij memorandumi:
Në shumicën e rasteve, aplikantët do të orientohen drejt procedurës konsullore jashtë SHBA-së dhe do të duhet të aplikojnë nga vendi i origjinës përmes ambasadës ose konsullatës amerikane.

📌 Memo prek veçanërisht:
• Mbajtësit e vizave turistike B1/B2
• Studentët F-1
• Punëtorët me viza të përkohshme
• Persona të tjerë me status jo-emigrant

⚖️ Megjithatë, është shumë e rëndësishme të kuptohet se:
Ky memorandum është një udhëzim administrativ (“policy guidance”) dhe JO një ligj i miratuar nga Kongresi Amerikan.
