If you are the foreign spouse or life partner of a South African citizen or permanent resident, it’s essential to know that a Section 11.6 is not a general spousal visa.

To qualify, you must have a qualifying activity in place:

✔️ A confirmed job offer from a South African employer

✔️ Formal acceptance at a South African educational institution

✔️ Your own registered business in South Africa
