Most people booking summer flights from Dubai right now are making the same mistake. Here is everything you are probably doing wrong. ✈️

Booking too early. 6 months out feels safe but airlines reprice constantly. The cheapest fares appear 6 to 8 weeks before departure when airlines get aggressive to fill seats. For July that window is right now.

Booking on the wrong day. Airlines update pricing Monday nights. Competitors match by Tuesday morning. The same seat on Tuesday costs 10 to 15% less than on Saturday.

Not using incognito mode. Booking sites track every search and raise prices the more you look. Open a private browser every single time. Never search the same route twice in the same session.

Always booking direct. Routing through Colombo, Kuala Lumpur or Muscat can cut your fare by 30 to 40%. The journey takes 2 to 3 hours longer. The saving is often AED 800 to 1,500 per person.

Searching manually every day instead of setting a fare alert. Google Flights and Skyscanner alert you the moment a price drops. Set it once and walk away. Obsessive searching actually raises the price you see.

Dubai public sector employees are expected to enjoy a massive 9-day Eid Al Adha holiday in 2026. 🇦🇪

The break is scheduled from May 23 to May 31, combining official Eid holidays with two weekends.

Schools in Dubai and Sharjah are also expected to follow the same holiday schedule, giving students and staff an extended break.

Government offices and schools are set to reopen on June 1, although final confirmation will depend on the official moon sighting.
