Many buyers think moving in means they own the property—but that’s not the case.

Occupation is when you move in. Transfer is when the property is legally registered in your name.

If you move in before transfer, you may need to pay occupational rent until registration is complete.

👉 Tip: Always confirm these dates in your agreement to avoid confusion.
