PROPERTY TIP TUESDAY

Suspensive Conditions Can Cancel Your Sale

Suspensive conditions are requirements that must be met for a sale to become final, like bond approval or the sale of another property. If these aren’t fulfilled by the agreed deadline, the agreement can automatically lapse and the sale may fall through.

Property Tip Tuesday

Occupation vs Transfer – Know the Difference

Many buyers think moving in means they own the propertyβ€”but that’s not the case.

Occupation is when you move in. Transfer is when the property is legally registered in your name.

If you move in before transfer, you may need to pay occupational rent until registration is complete.

πŸ‘‰ Tip: Always confirm these dates in your agreement to avoid confusion.
