People see the Realtor.
What they don't always see are all the versions that came before him.
The rookie trying to figure it out.
The guy who learned some lessons the hard way.
The sales manager.
The executive.
The builder.
The negotiator.
The problem solver.
The student who still believes there's always something new to learn.
The truth is, experience isn't something you can buy.
You can't fake it.
You can't download it from an app.
You earn it one client, one challenge, one mistake, and one success at a time.
After more than 20 years in the housing industry, I've learned that houses are easy.
It's the people, goals, dreams, surprises, and occasional chaos that make this business interesting.
Thankfully, I still enjoy every minute of it.
So here's to all the previous versions of ourselves that helped get us where we are today.
