At the Law Office of Elliot Mark Olen, we guide established and first-time business owners through the process of starting, building and maintaining their business. Elliot Mark Olen began the Olen Law Office as a boutique law practice in 1978 and maintained since then in the Oxford Valley area of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. (with honors and distinction) from the University of Pennsylvania. In 197

8 he was awarded a J.D. degree from Washington College of Law, American University (Washington D.C.)., He began the practice of law in 1978, serving as Clerk to former Common Pleas Judge Oscar Bortner until 1979. After a stint at general civil practice. By the late 1980's, Mr. Olen’s practice focused primarily in closely held business matters, related real estate matters, and wills/trusts/estate/Orphans Court practice. Although focused primarily on Bucks County related matters, Mr. Olen has handled matters in Courts throughout Philadelphia and its suburbs, and with Court Approval in Texas and New Jersey. Olen is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bar, and the U.S. Third of Appeals and has handled matters in all those forums (as well as the American Arbitration Association). He has served as arbitrator on several dozen occasions in private, Common Pleas and Federal District Court proceedings. Olen is a past or former Board Member and/or Officer for several non-profit organizations including the Bucks County Emergency Rescue Squad, Bucks County Jewish Congregation, Huntingdon Brook Community Association and Oxford Crossing Condominium Associations. Olen has prepared course materials, presented them, and in some cases moderated panel discussion for the NBI and Law Review.Com several times since 2008. Topics emphasized business and estate related issues; specifically business contracts (generally, and commercial real estate leases/non-compete agreements specifically); will drafting, death taxes, living wills, probate proceedings including litigation, and related matters including ethics.
