It is another bittersweet moment at Mirick as we prepare to celebrate the retirement of our Human Resources and Staffing Manager, Kathleen Goulet, who will be retiring at the end of the year after more than 45 years with the Firm.

While we are excited for Kathi as she begins this well-earned next chapter, we will certainly miss her. When a longtime employee retires, they take with them not only years of experience, but also invaluable institutional knowledge. At Mirick, we are committed to making these transitions as seamless as possible by providing opportunities for outgoing team members to share their knowledge, help onboard their successors, and support a smooth transition for both the new hire and the Firm.

's Boston office put together personal hygiene kits for Pine Street Inn, the largest homeless services provider in New England, as part of the firm's initiative. The kits will be distributed by Pine Street's outreach team to homeless individuals throughout the summer.

The need is real and Team Mirick responded Friday at El Buen Samaritano Food Program! Bravo to our crew who lugged boxes of fresh produce and kitchen staples to help over 2,500 individuals and distribute more than 10,000 pounds of food to families in our community.

Hydration was the word of the day for the crew that volunteered at Veterans Inc.'s 21st Annual Stand Down on Friday. Kudos to our team who helped support the event which provides access to a wide range of essential services in one location, including healthcare and wellness resources, housing assistance, employment opportunities, benefits support, legal services, food and clothing resources, and more.

Members of helped support Jeremiah's Inn Annual Food Drive this week outside Shaw's on Goldstar Boulevard. Jeremiah's Inn operates a food pantry which provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need.
