What should buyers expect during the closing process?

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes before you ever sit down at the closing table. Here are a few important pieces of the process buyers should know about:

• Title Search – A review of public records to make sure the property can legally be transferred
• Title Binder – Outlines what’s needed to provide a clear title before closing
• Title Policy – Helps protect against certain title issues that could arise later
• Working with Your Processor – Buyers will work directly with a processor throughout the transaction, and you’ll typically receive an introductory email from Helen, our Director of Sales and Marketing, to help keep everything organized and moving smoothly
