Our office just received a court verdict of $108,000, including payment for funeral expenses, in a case that we filed for two young parents whose infant daughter died as a result of asphyxiation while under the care of an un-licensed daycare provider. The daycare provider had misrepresented to the parents that she was licensed. The baby started choking and no one at the house was trained to provide CPR or pediatric emergency assistance. The child suffocated before the paramedics arrived. Justice. One day at a time ....
