🏡 Clark County Market Update | August 17–23
This week brought an encouraging sign for our local housing market: 184 homes closed — a 41% increase from the prior week. At the same time, 211 new listings came to market, up just 1%, while 200 homes went pending, down slightly by 2%.
What stands out to me is the balance. New inventory continues to give buyers more choices, but homes are still moving — and this week's jump in closings is a good reminder that there are plenty of motivated buyers in the market.
For sellers, today's market rewards good preparation, accurate pricing, and strong presentation. Buyers have choices, so simply putting a home on the market isn't a strategy.
For buyers, increased inventory means more opportunity to be selective and negotiate — but well-positioned homes can still move quickly.
The market isn't standing still, and neither should your strategy. Whether you're considering buying, selling, or simply wondering what your home is worth in today's Clark County market, I'm will help you make sense of the numbers.
