Reagan wins the presidency with mortgage interest rates around 14%. The Empire Strikes Back is in theaters and the Rubik's Cube is on toy-store shelves. Blondie, Pink Floyd and Olivia Newton-John are topping the charts. And you absolutely are not missing the new episode of Dallas.

Today, it's AI, data centers, 7% mortgage rates and an endless stream of notifications, feeds, algorithms and noise.

So much noise.

Yeah, I'm adding to it right now with this post.

But at 85 Tanglewood Trl. in Valpo, there's still a little slice of then instead of now.
