Did you know today changed military history forever?

On July 12, 1862, President Abraham Lincoln signed the legislation creating the U.S. Army Medal of Honor—America’s highest military award for valor.

While only a few receive that honor, I believe we should never stop recognizing the heroes who serve our communities every day.
