📚 From Intake to Invoice: Client Skills for the Newer Attorney
This program is designed to help newer attorneys build the practical, client-facing skills that are rarely taught in law school but are essential to running a successful practice. The course focuses on conducting effective client interviews and developing the facts of a matter, while guiding attorneys through every stage of the client relationship from first contact and intake through engagement, representation, and billing.
We’ll also discuss strategies for finding and attracting clients, drafting clear and enforceable engagement agreements, identifying legal issues during interviews, and implementing invoicing practices that encourage prompt payment and reduce fee disputes.
