Twenty five years.

We remember the 2,977 lives taken on September 11, 2001, and the firefighters, officers, and paramedics who ran toward the danger while everyone else ran from it.

Today belongs to them.

NOT GUILTY. Twenty minutes.

Our client, a district manager for a fast-food chain, was criminally charged after she did not provide a detective with surveillance video.

She could not provide it. The video no longer existed. The system had recorded over it weeks before the subpoena requesting it was ever issued.

The case went to trial.

The jury deliberated twenty minutes.

Not guilty.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, a handful of stubborn people decided they'd rather govern themselves. This weekend, we celebrate it all.

Enjoy the fireworks, the barbecue, and the long weekend with the people you love. One ask from us: if you're going to drink, line up your ride before the first one - a friend, a rideshare, or a designated driver. A great weekend shouldn't end on the side of the road.

Happy 250th birthday, America. Celebrate safely.
