Word of the Week: Addendum

Addenda are documents added to a contract. Some of the most common are repair requests, price change, closing date extensions, etc. Standard contract addenda such as HOA, CDD, lead based paint, etc. are part of the original contract and required if there is an HOA, CDD, or the home was built before 1978.
