The only dog I have ever owned as my own, Buddy, has passed. He was with me the last 16+ years and was on our office website. He insisted on greeting everyone who came into the office and was held on the lap of more than a few as they told me their life stories. He assisted in settling disputes as people started sharing dog stories during depositions and then found that they could talk about other things as well. I have never had such unwavering devotion and loyalty. He will deeply missed. May he romp in dog heaven.
