Review the settlement structure — Is it tax-efficient? Does it protect your business or future income streams? You may benefit here from brining in a financial analyst and/or accountant on the issue.
Update your estate plan, trust documents, corporate or partnership agreements, or beneficiary designations — divorce may trigger unintended consequences if you don’t act.
