We're honored to share that Elevated Estate Planning has once again been named to the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies. This marks our second consecutive year receiving this recognition, following last year's inclusion as Moulton Law Offices.

This year, we ranked:
• #2 fastest-growing company in the Spokane & Spokane Valley area
• #55 fastest-growing company in Washington
• #147 fastest-growing company in the legal industry

Earning this recognition for a second year is an incredible milestone, but what makes it truly meaningful is the people behind it.

Every day, our team puts our five core values into action: Client-Focused, Team, Excellence, Integrity, and Growth Mindset. These values shape how we serve our clients, support one another, and continue to grow.

Just like last year, these rankings are exciting, but they represent something much bigger. They reflect the trust our clients and community place in us and the dedication, passion, and hard work our team brings every single day.

We're grateful for your trust and excited for what's ahead!

The past couple of days have been incredibly difficult for our Spokane community.

At Elevated Estate Planning, our hearts are with everyone who has been affected by the fires. We are thinking of those who have been forced to evacuate, are facing uncertainty, or have experienced the devastating loss of their homes or property.

We are incredibly grateful to the firefighters, first responders, and emergency personnel who continue working tirelessly to keep our community safe.

Please stay safe, take care of one another, and know that our thoughts are with you.

A Revocable Living Trust and a Will each play an important role in a comprehensive estate plan.

With a properly funded Revocable Living Trust, you remain in control of your assets during your lifetime. You may also designate successor trustees to manage trust assets if you become incapacitated or after your death. Assets held in the trust can pass to your beneficiaries without probate.

A Will remains an important part of your estate plan. It can nominate a personal representative and guardians for minor children, provide instructions for probate assets, and address property that was not transferred to your trust.

However, a Will alone does not avoid probate. When probate is required, it involves additional time, expense, and public court filings for your loved ones. The goal is not simply to sign documents. A coordinated estate plan can help ensure that your assets are properly titled, your decision-makers are clearly identified, and your wishes are carried out.

What better way to celebrate the power of TEAM than with donuts!

Last Friday's team meeting put our creativity (and decorating skills!) to the test during a fun donut decorating challenge. Partnering up in teams of two, we had just 10 minutes to transform a plain donut into a design that represented one of our core values: Team. Armed with frosting, M&Ms, sprinkles, and plenty of imagination, each team created a unique masterpiece.

Once time was up, each team presented their donut to the group, sharing the team name and the inspiration behind the design. Every creation was judged on creativity, overall presentation, and attention to detail.

Our two teammates who joined us via Zoom selected the top three designs (in no particular order):

Team Equitable Force
Team Winner
Team Melting Pot

To wrap up the competition, a final judge selected the overall winner: Team Melting Pot!

This challenge was a fun reflection of our core value, Team. Each of us brings unique strengths and perspectives to the table. When we combine those strengths through collaboration, communication, and teamwork, we can achieve something greater together than we could individually.
