Only in Pennsylvania do we all instinctively hold our breath through the Lehigh Tunnel. Doesn’t matter if you’re 18 or 81, you see that mountain coming and it is game on. Deep inhale, eyes forward, hoping no one brakes.

Halfway through you’re seeing stars but nobody dares exhale. Then you burst out the other side gasping like you just conquered Everest. It’s not written anywhere, but every Pennsylvanian knows this rule: you hold your breath in the Lehigh Tunnel!

BREAKING: Pennsylvania requires annual vehicle inspections and, in many counties, emissions testing. Some drivers believe the requirements help keep roads safer and vehicles in better condition.

Others argue today's cars are more reliable than ever and that the added costs are an unnecessary burden on working families, especially in 2026. There is always talk of change but nothing ever seems to come of it.

If you could change Pennsylvania's inspection and emissions laws, what would you do? Keep them, reform them, or get rid of them altogether?
