MEET TINA CRAWFORD WHITE of Pinnacle Law, LLC
After over 25 years serving her clients as their attorney and five years before that as their CPA, Tina’s clients consider her their Trusted Advisor. Yes, they know she is an excellent business litigator. Yes, they rely upon her to take First Chair in the litigation of their business disputes (involving amounts from thousands to millions, and all levels in between). But her biggest successes are achieved when that Chair is empty, and those disputes are resolved before they ever reach the courtroom. She understands how important and wise early dispute resolution is to businesses. She understands what her clients need, and her vast experience coupled with her ingenuity, intelligence, and drive have equipped her with the ability to deliver. She solves legal matters from the vantage point of the CEO. Before opening her own law firm, Pinnacle Law, LLC, in 2020 (before COVID19), Tina spent most of her 25 years practicing law with the large downtown New Orleans full-service law firm of Gordon Arata. While there, she developed into an outstanding commercial litigator, construction counsel, contract preparer and negotiator, and general business attorney. Prior to becoming an attorney, she practiced public accounting for five years with the international CPA firm of Ernst & Young. At Gordon Arata, she achieved the rank of Partner early, and—building on her prior depth of experience as a CPA—proceeded to build a successful business legal practice. Tina is a local girl. She was born and raised in Slidell, Louisiana. She moved to New Orleans to attend Loyola University on an academic scholarship, graduating with honors with a degree in Accounting in 1986. She remained in New Orleans while working as a CPA at Ernst & Young, but after five years could no longer resist her desire to become an attorney. She was (and is) adept at helping people solve problems. She is a “fixer,” and knew she could better use her skills to help her clients as an attorney. In the middle of Busy Season as a CPA, she sat for the LSAT, and earned an academic scholarship to Tulane University School of Law. She graduated near the top of her class, earning Law Review and Order of the Coif, in 1994. Her hard work paid off with the reward of a coveted law clerk position with the Louisiana Supreme Court, clerking for Justice Walter Marcus. She then began her career at Gordon Arata, where she remained for most of the next 25 years. She moved back to Slidell in 2003 and has lived there ever since. She is the very proud mom of two girls, Bella and Olivia, and says that “being their Mama is the most important job she has ever had.”
At the beginning of 2020, Tina decided the time was ripe to start her own firm. She opened Pinnacle Law, LLC, and continued to serve her business clients (all of whom followed her to her new firm). While continuing to serve clients in New Orleans, she also serves clients throughout the Northshore (including her hometown of Slidell, Covington and Mandeville), in Baton Rouge, Hammond and other areas throughout the State of Louisiana. At Pinnacle Law, she also expanded the legal practice she had developed in the areas of estate planning, successions, and wills. COMMUNITY SERVICE & LEADERSHIP
Tina believes in giving back. She is dedicated to public service, both in the community and in the Legal Bar. She currently serves on the Pastoral Advisory Council of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Slidell (OLL), her parish church. Before that, she served on the OLL Finance Council and was on the OLL Rebuilding Finance Council following the complete destruction of the school and church by Hurricane Katrina. She served as Chair of the Young Leadership Council’s (YLC) Neighborhood Renaissance Partnership Committee, which was dedicated to improving the quality of neighborhoods in the New Orleans area. During her watch, that committee renovated several homes under the Rebuilding Together (formerly Christmas in October) program. During her tenure, the YLC honored Tina with its Volunteer of the Year Award. Tina has volunteered considerable time to the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Louisiana Bar Foundation, serving in Leadership positions in both. Tina is a current and inaugural Board Member of the Steel Mimosas, dedicated to supporting local non-profits. She is also a current and inaugural Board Member of the East St. Tammany Business Alliance, whose mission is to promote and support the growth and development of local businesses. She volunteers her time to Habitat for Humanity, and has proudly worked on the Women’s Build as a Rosie on Representative Mary DuBuisson’s Rockin’ Rosie Team. CONTACT INFORMATION
