Attorney Eric McDonald is our Criminal Defense Attorney here at Compass Legal Services. McDonald also provides client representation for legal matters pertaining to Landlord Tenant law (tenant representation), and many types of civil litigation matters. Additionally, he provides legal counsel for immigration matters.

Attorney Eric McDonald graduated in 1994 from InterAmerican Law School, San Juan Puerto Rico, Magna-Cum-Laude. Attorney McDonald honorably served twenty-one years in the U.S. Navy retiring in 2014 from the Navy JAG!

Attorney McDonald is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. As a native Spanish speaking attorney in Kitsap County, Mr. McDonald works has worked with Spanish speaking clients from numerous Spanish speaking countries, easily traversing multiple dialects.

Attorney McDonald also supports the local legal aid clinic (Kitsap Legal Services).

Mr. McDonald is a member of good standing of the Puerto Rico, District of Columbia and Washington State Bars, Kitsap County Bar Association, U.S. District Court for Puerto Rico, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces as well as the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeal. He is Chair of WSBA Legal Assistance to Military Personnel (LAMP) Section.
