Wide-open spaces, mountain views, and a lifestyle all its own 🏔️🎣

Beyond the Headlines: What We’re Seeing in the Market

The latest Seattle home-price headlines tell one part of the story. But for buyers and sellers, the more useful question is what we’re seeing on the ground as we enter fall.

Inventory remains significantly higher than a year ago, giving buyers more choice and more room to evaluate value. For sellers, that increased competition makes pricing and positioning especially important.

At the same time, September data shows some early signs that the pace of decline may be moderating. Pending sales are giving us a more current look at buyer activity than closed sales alone, and the distinction is worth watching as we move through the fall market.

In the latest Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty article, they take a closer look at the numbers, the shift from scarcity to selectivity, and what today’s market is asking of both buyers and sellers.
