Nothing means more to me than when past clients and friends trust me enough to introduce me to the people closest to them.

I first connected with my sellers through a referral last summer as they began thinking about their next chapter and preparing for retirement. They had lived in their home for more than 30 years — raising their kids, building friendships, and creating a wonderful community around them — so this was naturally an emotional decision, as it is for many sellers.

They preferred to approach the sale of their home a little differently than the traditional path to market, so we worked strategically behind the scenes. My sellers had a few potential buyer leads, and through careful negotiation we were able to secure the best terms with one of them.

To help give my sellers confidence in the process, we also structured the agreement so the buyer released their earnest money after feasibility, providing additional security as we moved forward.

Selling a home filled with decades of memories is never easy, but when the right opportunity comes together, it makes the transition a little smoother.

Once we were under contract, the next phase began — patiently waiting for the right home to come along.

So excited for my friends A & S on the purchase of their beautiful new home. 🏡

We began talking last year about finding a larger space. With two kids now, they had outgrown their current home and were hoping to be closer to family. When the right opportunity presented itself — in a wonderful community with a playground just across the street — we knew it was the perfect fit.

In this market, timing and strategy matter. We moved quickly, structured a strong offer, and negotiated the best possible terms to secure the home.

One thing I always remind my clients: when you know it’s the right home, don’t hesitate. Another buyer may feel the same way — and that’s when negotiating power can quickly disappear.

Advocating for my clients and negotiating winning outcomes is one of the parts of this business I enjoy the most.

I had the opportunity to attend the Compass Spring Kickoff at Lumen Field, and it was such an inspiring day.

The morning started with an intimate breakfast for the top 25 Seahawks partners, where we had the chance to hear from Seahawks COO David Young and connect with an incredible group of leaders and partners. It was a really special way to start the day.

Later, we heard from Compass CEO & Chairman Robert Reffkin and former Seahawk Justin Babineaux, along with other excellent speakers who shared insights on leadership, teamwork, and building something meaningful. It was also wonderful to reconnect with so many colleagues and friends.

I’m incredibly proud to be part of such an innovative organization and honored to be a Seahawks partner with Compass. Feeling energized and grateful after such a great event and excited for everything ahead this year.
