97% of pet owners consider their animals part of the family. But only half of those with estate plans have made arrangements for their care.

A pet trust lets you name a caregiver, set aside funds, and spell out exactly how you want them looked after. This is such a good read for any pet parent thinking about what comes next. 🐾

And when you're ready to put a plan in place, we're here to help.

This is a cautionary tale worth reading. Tony Hsieh, the founder of Zappos, died at 46 with an estimated $850 million and no will. Years later, his estate is still tangled in court, and now lawyers are asking a judge to forensically test a will they believe is fake. The people who loved him are still waiting.

This is exactly why having a clear, properly documented plan matters so much.

An ALS diagnosis changes everything, often very quickly. One of the most meaningful things someone can do in the early stages, while they have full capacity to make decisions, is get their legal documents in place.

A Healthcare Directive, Power of Attorney, and a thoughtful estate plan can lift an enormous burden from the people they love most during an incredibly hard time. This month, we're thinking of everyone touched by this disease. 💙

Your estate plan should sound like you, not like a form letter.

We take the time to understand your family, your values, and your wishes so your documents reflect who you actually are, not a boilerplate template with your name swapped in.

A life insurance policy is one of the most tangible ways to say "I've got you" to the people who depend on you. But having the policy is only part of the picture.

Making sure your beneficiary designations are current and that your policy works alongside the rest of your estate plan is what makes it truly effective.

Today is a good day to check both.

Most parents want their legacy to provide a foundation for their children's future. However, an unorganized or "tied up" estate can lead to years of probate, taxes, and unintended consequences.

Whether it's choosing the right trust structure or having open conversations about your wishes now, you can ensure your hard-earned assets serve as a springboard for the next generation and not a legal knot they have to untangle.
