Good news from the National Association of REALTORS®: In our Western region, sales rose 6.6% (1.5% above the national average) in December from November to an annual rate of 810,000. Sales were unchanged from a year ago. Median price: $605,600, down 1.4% from December 2024.

Existing-home sales increased for the third straight month due to lower mortgage rates this autumn. However, inventory growth is beginning to stall.
