Every week I look through the homes for sale in Scottsdale and find the one buyers are paying the most attention to for a home its age. This week, out of 842 homes, one stood out. The homes we checked averaged 53 saves. This one earned 241 saves and 2,861 views. That is 354% above the average.

I keep the address and the price out of the post on purpose. Comment DEAL below and I will send them straight to you.

Scottsdale In the News Today - it is always in the news that Scottsdale is a destination for many retirees. This report just came out. Yes it is #4 !

In a recent analysis, personal finance company WalletHub compared 182 U.S. metros on a range of 45 key metrics under four broad categories: affordability, activities, quality of life and healthcare.

Scottsdale scored high based on its retiree-friendly environment, coming in first for quality of life and second for its percentage of population aged 65 and older. Scottsdale highlights : extremely low real estate taxes averaging 1/2 of 1%, great access to medical care, warm winters, low population density, and an average age range of residents between 45-75 yrs old.

“It’s important to choose wisely when picking where to retire, as many retirees are on a fixed income,” said WalletHub analyst Chip Lupo. “The best cities for retired people are those that minimize taxes and expenses, as well as have good opportunities for retirees to continue paid work for extra income, if they choose to do so. In addition, top cities provide high-quality health care and offer plenty of enjoyable activities for retirees.”

Casper, Wyoming rounded out the top five places to retire, while the bottom five cities for retirement were Rancho Cucamonga, California; Fresno, California; Newark, New Jersey; San Bernardino, California; and Stockton, California, respectively.

Just sold another gorgeous home in Troon ( Scottsdale) with stunning mountain views. Tamra & Byron fell in love with the Troon area and I hunted for the right house and showed them this house in just 2 hours after it was listed. I knew that it was underpriced and I wanted to get them an incredible home for a crazy good price. The best part of this story is that after we negotiated the sale price, an appraisal was done and confirmed that Tamara & Byron got this home for $275,000 less than the appraised value.

I was a hero in this transaction and so happy to use my negotiating skills to make this sale one worth talking about.
