The difference between approval and rejection is often one detail.
Most people underestimate this.
But it’s real.

Here’s the truth 👇
✅ Small documentation details can strengthen credibility
❌ Missing details can weaken the entire case

EB-1A is precise.
And precision determines outcomes.
If you'd like a detailed review of your documentation, we can help.

Before you hit submit on your EB-1A petition, run through these 3 questions for the original contributions criterion:
Question 1: What is your innovation's external footprint? Citations, patents citing your patent, media coverage; anything that proves the outside world noticed.

Question 2: Can you quantify the impact? Hard numbers. Efficiency gains, cost savings, error reductions. Percentages over vague descriptions every time.

Question 3: Can you get a truly independent expert? Someone with zero relationship to you who can write a credible letter explaining your innovation's influence. Independence = credibility with USCIS.

If you can't answer all three, you're not ready to file.

"Major significance" sounds vague, but USCIS is looking for objective, verifiable proof. Here are the 3 ways that actually work:
1. Independent testimonials: Letters from experts who have no relationship to you explaining how your innovation transformed the field.

2. Adoption & implementation: Companies, users, or customers using your innovation. That's real-world, objective proof.

3. Quantifiable metrics: Efficiency gains, cost reductions, error rate improvements. Numbers are objective. Numbers win.
Subjective letters from colleagues and vague impact claims don't cut it. USCIS wants evidence from people with no skin in the game.

We’re seeing more RFEs than approvals in poorly prepared cases.

This is becoming a pattern.

Not because applicants aren’t qualified
but because cases aren’t structured properly.

Here’s the truth 👇
✅ Strong preparation reduces RFEs
❌ Weak documentation invites scrutiny

The margin for error is shrinking.

Small gaps are being questioned more than before.

If you're planning your EB-1A case, preparation matters more than ever.

Here’s the truth 👇

✅ Strong, verifiable documentation

✅ Logical structure

❌ Random evidence without connection

USCIS doesn’t connect the dots for you.

Your case needs to do that clearly.

Every single EB-1A RFE asks about it, but most engineers don't know what it actually means: Major Significance.
The original contributions criterion has two parts:
(1) proving your innovation is ground breaking and first-of-its-kind in your domain, and
(2) proving it has had major significance; meaning it was adopted, implemented, or transformed your field in a measurable way.
USCIS almost always focuses on part two, and most engineers come unprepared. If you invented something great but can't prove the world noticed, that's your RFE waiting to happen.
