Having my own practice means, for me, doing everything my damn self. Mailing certified letters, delivering trial binders, accounting, client Intakes, case management, research and writing, collections, and of course, court appearances!
(Not to mention social media PR- not so great at this but I’m trying)

To me- it takes more energy to :

1. Find someone reliable;

2. explain when, how, and why it must be done, usually more than once;

3. Deal with follow up calls and texts from them if the thing they are trying to do “ isn’t working” because they don’t have experience to problem solve independently;

3. worry they don’t end up doing it at all, or not on time- which makes me look like a du***ss;

4. Scurrying to correct whatever mistake they make.

So if anyone wants to know why I don’t immediately reply to messages/ emails/ calls- I’ll get to you as soon as possible.
