🚨 FALSE ACCUSATIONS. TWO FELONY CHARGES. TWO NOT GUILTY VERDICTS. 🚨

The State accused our client of Sexual Assault and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon — allegations carrying up to 40 YEARS in prison. ⛓️

The client trusted Attorney Alfonso Cabañas and took the case to trial. ⚖️

During an intense cross-examination, law enforcement admitted they failed to thoroughly investigate the case and failed to collect corroborating evidence. 📂❌

Then, during cross-examination of the State’s forensic scientist, Alfonso exposed the truth:
🧬 NO DNA evidence anywhere on the complainant’s body tying our client to the allegations.

After just 2 hours of deliberation, the jury returned:
✅ NOT GUILTY — Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
✅ NOT GUILTY — Sexual Assault

Fiesta is about celebration… but THIS is what it looks like when a community shows up with purpose. 💙

We are beyond grateful to everyone who showed up for our donation drive benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio - . ❤️🪅

Some of you started lining up as early as 9PM the night before! Yes, 12 hours of waiting in line! 😅 Others pulled up at 4AM and 6AM for our 9am start time. You didn’t just come for a medal, you came to help families who truly need a home away from home.🙏

What made this day even more special were the stories. We heard from people who have personally benefited from the Ronald McDonald House—real families, real impact. We also shared Alfonso’s personal connection- his aunt and uncle stayed at the Ronald McDonald House while his cousin, Andrea Pedraza, spent 7 months in the NICU, including her first Christmas. In May, this year, she is graduating from medical school and starting her residency in pediatrics right here in San Antonio, Texas! Full circle! 💫

It’s a new dawn. It’s a new day. It’s a new life for him. ⚖️
And we’re feeling…GOOD!🔥Not Guilty.🔥

It could happen to you.

The State blinked. We didn’t. 👀⚖️

This morning we were set for jury trial on a felony DWI in San Antonio.
Jury selected yesterday. 🎯
Opening statements locked and loaded. 📂🔥
The courtroom was ready.

Right before we start… the prosecutor walks over and dismisses the case. ❌

That was the third accusation.

Three different arrests.
Three separate cases.
Three chances for the State to lock him up.

Three times he chose the right lawyer.

Let’s rewind.

My client stared down three separate criminal cases and serious prison time:

• Misdemeanor Assault – Bodily Injury → Dismissed. ❌
• Felony Assault on a Security Guard → After I impeached the “victim” as a liar, the judge granted my Motion for Directed Verdict. ⚖️💥
• Felony DWI → Dismissed on the morning of trial after a jury was selected. 🎯❌
