Sometimes setbacks are the sparks you didn’t know you needed.
My buddy Jesús--retired Air Force and gov't contracting officer--was hit with job uncertainty during the government shutdown. Instead of letting it shake him, he trusted himself & trusted God that something better could come out of it. And it did.
That moment pushed him to finally build the business idea he’d been sitting on for years. Now StreamerQue is launching this December, & from my own inside look & early testing of the platform, I can tell you it’s the real deal--this thing is going to be huge.
I had a similar moment earlier this year. Working at Los Angeles AFB with the crazy cost of living was already fun--& then my renters in Texas turned into squatters. For six months, we were paying an extra mortgage out of pocket. It was stressful, it was expensive, and it felt like one thing after another.
But here’s the twist: That setback meant our home was vacant when we finally moved back to Texas & it enabled us to get retirement orders issued during the orders freeze. What felt like a mess ended up being a blessing in disguise.
Proud of Jesús for turning pressure into purpose, & grateful for the reminders this year that sometimes the tough moments are lining us up for something better.
