Here at Kmiec and Noonan LLC, we are very pleased to announce that starting next week, we will have another attorney under our roof sharing office space with us in Salem. MacKenzie Renner, who many of us in the legal community know from our time in both Kenosha and Walworth Counties, will be joining us starting next week. MacKenzie is a graduate of UW Madison Law School and has been practicing for 17 years in the State Public Defender's Office. She was the head of the Public Defender's Office in Walworth County for the last 7 years. Mackenzie is an award-winning defense attorney, having won the Hansen Award for successful Homicide defense and the Kuchler-Nicholsen-Stilling Sensitive Crimes Award. She has experience in many complicated and high-profile cases. Beyond that, she is one of the most dedicated attorneys we know and a quality person outside the Courtroom. We will be working with her on many of our mutual cases and look forward to helping her in the next stop of her career; a very successful Private Practice. She will be practicing in Walworth, Kenosha, Racine and Rock Counties. Welcome Aboard Mackenzie!!

So very Proud of Julie Ann, our outstanding Office Manager and Paralegal at Kmiec and Noonan. Julie just got word that she passed the Private Investigator Exam and has been licensed as a PI in Wisconsin. Not only is she one of the hardest working people I've ever worked with, but her and her husband Rich Meltzer are some of the best people I know. Julie has been assisting me in Jury Trials for the last year and has done an incredible job of getting cases ready for trial and helping during the trials themselves. She has definitely made me an even better lawyer. Her prior Law Enforcement experience, intelligence, and knack for the Law is going to make her a great PI. This adds another level to our ability to investigate cases and do an even better job of representing our clients. We are in the process of working on how we will work this into our practice and what outside work she wants to do but she will be the most competent and ethical PI in Kenosha County right out of the gate. Congrats Julie!!!

I received a phone call from a person I know who informed me that a scammer is making local calls from a phone number of (262) 843 4266, which is coming up on called ID as Kmiec and Noonan. That is not us. So if you get a call from this number, it's a scammer and not the real deal. Our number is (262) 843 2165. Thank You. Ted

We are having some great new additions to our Team here at the Firm. We are welcoming our new Paralegal, Julie Meltzer, who is starting with us on Monday, August 9th. We are going to continue to keep our independent Paralegal, Rebecca Reed, as part of our Firm moving forward. We also have exciting news on the Personal Injury front, where we will be associating with a good friend of ours and outstanding attorney from Chicago to team up with on those type of cases to provide quality, personalized and local representation you don't get from the TV Commercial Lawyers. Kevin and I want to welcome our new Paralegal, Rebecca Reed, to our Team. She is a hard working young lady and great addition who will help us serve our clients even better. We are thrilled to have her on board. She's starting her own Paralegal business, but is going to stay with us through the Summer and continue to assist us beyond that.

We are looking for someone experienced and competent in e-filing in Wisconsin Courts, Time Slips billing Software, Wordperfect, Outlook and internet search engines. Being familiar with local law enforcement agencies, and the local courts systems in Southeast Wisconsin would be a big plus. We also require good telephone and customer service skills.
