🎄 Holiday Office Closure Notice 🎄
Edenhofer Law Offices, S.C. will be closed December 20th through January 4th, reopening on Monday, January 5th, 2026.
Our staff will be taking some much-needed time to be with family this holiday season and will be enjoying this gift of time.

Why are we giving back to the community and giving away the following Sheriff's Deputy For A Day Certificate won at the Annual Boots and Bling auction?? It's simple. Attorney Carl Edenhofer and his daughter Julie attended the 2025 Annual Boots and Bling Fundraiser to benefit Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program. In 2018 Julie was the guest speaker at the annual event shared about her journey with MTRP. Almost 26 years ago (this November) Julie was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Many in the community remember her story and journey. The only option to try and save her life was surgery, it was a trying time for the family, but especially Julie. As Julie mentioned to all when she gave that speech; some of the medical staff at Children's Hospital said she never would be able to care for herself again. After her surgery she couldn't walk, talk, or eat and extensive therapy was needed. Seeing her walk up to the stage that night and hearing her speak we all felt so many emotions. Another part that got right to the heart was when she arrived and stopped to greet her former therapist, Julie looked over and saw we were all standing right next to the horse, Chipper, who happened to be the horse Julie rode for therapy. Chipper still remembers Julie. We could go on and on, but the standing ovation that Julie received that night says it all. So thankful for MTRP and all they do for the community. So, Carl and Julie decided to give back and give someone the experience of Sheriff's Deputy For A Day. If you have never been to one of the Boots and Bling Fundraiser events, watch for next year. Good information for anyone looking for help or those who may need some during these times. Thank you to Kristen Olsen - American Family Insurance Agency for posting this.

With many concerned about what's to come in November, I wanted to share some information for those who made need a little extra help during the upcoming winter months. These are just a few places that I know of locally who provide help to those in need.

For those who are able, I would encourage you to add an extra item or three to your shopping list and donate to a local food pantry. Even the smallest of donations is better than none at all! If that isn't in your budget, please consider volunteering to help others. Many organizations can use that help too!

Our office will continue to support these organizations and may add a drop box for anyone interested in adding donation items for these pantries.
