Recent coverage by Spectrum Bay News 9 highlighted the class action lawsuits we’ve filed involving preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A), an add-on to IVF.

At the center of these cases are questions about how these tests have been marketed with claims about accuracy, effectiveness, and improved IVF outcomes that are not adequately supported by scientific research and clinical validation.

The cases are ongoing. However, this is not about discouraging IVF or innovation. It is about truth and transparency so individuals can make decisions about their treatment and whether to purchase PGT-A.

Natera’s website states that after many years of offering Spectrum™ preimplantation genetic testing, it has discontinued Spectrum PGT services.

No public explanation has been provided.

The website further states that “patients with Spectrum PGT testing currently in progress will continue to be supported in coordination with their ordering provider until testing is completed. Please contact your fertility clinic or ordering provider for guidance specific to your care.”

I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer.

But it wasn’t until I needed fertility treatment to build my own family that I realized fertility patients need advocates too.

Now I fight to make sure patients are heard during their family building journey and that the industry is held accountable when patients deserve better.

For many with endometriosis, the hardest part isn’t just the pain.

It’s being told their symptoms aren’t serious.

Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women, yet diagnosis can take years. During that time, the condition can continue to progress and sometimes impact fertility.

Awareness matters because patients deserve to be heard, believed, and properly treated.
