Looking at the July stats for the Greater Sacramento Region, one thing is certain: sellers need to be prepared for their home to take a little longer to sell. At 40 days on market, we’re seeing a more patient buyer who has the ability to compare homes and make thoughtful decisions. That doesn’t mean demand has disappeared—July sales were nearly identical to last year. It means sellers need to set realistic expectations, remain patient, and trust the strategy.
