Today, we honor Juneteenth — a day that commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, progress, and the enduring strength of the Black community. It is a time to reflect on our nation's history, celebrate how far we've come, and continue striving toward a future built on equality and opportunity for all.

In observance of Juneteenth, S&S Notary LLC will be closed today as we take time to honor and celebrate this important day.
