Have you had a chance to meet Tom?
A lifelong Texan with more than 40 years of courtroom experience, Thomas H. Keen has dedicated his career to helping clients navigate complex legal matters with skill, preparation, and integrity. From an early age, Tom knew he wanted to become an attorney, and he has spent decades advocating for clients throughout Texas.
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin before receiving his Juris Doctor from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas. Committed to continually sharpening his trial advocacy skills, he is also a graduate of the prestigious National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), where he completed an intensive 21-day trial program focused on courtroom strategy, jury trials, and hands-on litigation training under the guidance of experienced judges and senior litigators.
In recognition of his extensive litigation experience, Tom has also been selected as a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society that recognizes excellence in litigation and trial advocacy.
Outside the courtroom, Tom enjoys an active lifestyle. He is an avid bicyclist, motorcyclist, hiker, and fisherman who appreciates spending time outdoors. He is also a dedicated musician, singing with both the choir at Custer Road United Methodist Church and the Frisco Chorale.
Born and raised in Texas, Tom comes from a family with four generations of Texas roots. He and his wife raised their three children in Plano and now enjoy spending time with their six grandchildren.
