MAJOR VICTORY IN FIRST DEGREE MURDER CASE:
Ryan Birss achieves a major victory in a Siskiyou County homicide trial. Ryan Birss's client was accused of first degree murder after law enforcement reopened an investigation into a suspicious death occurring in 2017. On March 3, 2025, after a four week long trial, a jury found Mr. Corriea NOT GUILTY of first degree murder. The jury was unable to come to a unanimous decision on the lesser charge of second degree murder and a mistrial was declared. A future trial on the lesser charge was set for later this year.
